From Friday 30 January until Monday 4 May, there will be a series of road closures across Huddersfield and Deighton. A mix of weekend and weekday closures will see the A641 Bradford Road/Northgate, A62 Leeds Road, and Colne Bridge Road shut to facilitate Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) engineering works.

A level crossing upgrade will mean changes to passenger services between Derby and Crewe this weekend (24-25 January).

Passengers travelling via Oxford are being urged to plan their journeys ahead at the start of February as Network Rail installs a new railway bridge adjacent to Oxford station as part of plans to boost rail services and capacity.

Visitors to the East Lancashire Railway (ELR) are set to enjoy even more heritage rail experiences, community events and learning opportunities thanks to a new partnership with Network Rail.

Passengers are set to benefit from a major programme of essential upgrades to the West Coast Main Line – the railway that connects London, the Midlands, the North West and Scotland.
