Network Rail is inviting local residents to find out more about how the railway works by coming on a tour of Kintbury signal box.

A new signalling centre which will eventually control large parts of the railway in the north west of England has been officially opened in Manchester.

Pupils from Brinkworth Earl Danby’s CE Primary School in Chippenham were given the opportunity to show off their artistic talents last week in a drawing competition organised by Network Rail and their contractor, J Murphy & Sons Ltd (Murphy).
