The mother of a teenager caught trespassing with two of his friends on the railway in Warwickshire say all three boys are lucky to have escaped unharmed.

Nine-year-old Paige, from North Wales, has shared her story with Network Rail to help raise awareness of the real dangers of level crossing misuse

• Work to reconstruct and strengthen railway bridges in central Manchester has started and will continue until Sunday 15 August

• This work is part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) which will bring faster, more reliable services to passengers travelling between Manchester and York, via Huddersfield and Leeds

Passengers traveling on trains between London Waterloo and South West London, Surrey, Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire should check before they travel and plan ahead as three days of improvement work - including a weekday – at Weybridge in Surrey will mean major changes to services.
