£55 MILLION INVESTMENT IN LINCOLN’S RAILWAY
A £55 million investment programme that will completely renew the railway through the centre of Lincoln, has been announced by Network Rail. Starting next spring, the track and signalling through the centre of the city will be renewed, the track layout will be improved, and a new state-of-the-art signalling control centre will be built at West Holmes.

PLATFORM FOR IMPROVEMENT AT METHERINGHAM
Passengers using Metheringham station are set to benefit as Network Rail gives the station a revamp. The £500,000 project will see the station’s two platforms rebuilt, new waiting shelters constructed and new lighting installed. New level access ramps to each platform will make the station fully accessible for the first time.

Passengers travelling to Nottingham are now benefiting from a more pleasant view after an extensive clean up of the railway, cracking down on vandals and graffiti artists in the area.
