Network Rail is reminding people of the risks of trespassing on the railway, as the Cambrian line between Harlech and Pwllheli reopens to engineering trains from Monday 18 August, followed shortly by passenger services.

The reopening of the walkway between Teignmouth and Smugglers Lane in Dawlish has been delayed until next week, after stormy weather at the weekend damaged the temporary works used to construct Sprey Point ramp.

Network Rail’s ‘orange army’ is continuing to work hard at Dawlish to repair the damage caused by the storms at the beginning of the year and to put in place measures to protect the area against any future extreme weather.
