NETWORK RAIL APPLAUDES RAIL FORWARD PROGRAMME FOR WALES
The Welsh Assembly Government has announced today a rail forward programme to create a more unified, prosperous and greener Wales. The programme, which is announced by the Transport Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones, sets out the proposed improvements to be made to the railway infrastructure from now to 2014 and beyond.

Reading residents and rail users have shown their support for the Reading rail re-modelling scheme. Over 2,000 people took part in Network Rail’s consultation on redeveloping the railway at Reading and 95% of the comments received supported the proposals or requested further detail.
