Sounds from an ecological park will be streamed to London Bridge Station, the UK’s fourth busiest railway station, thanks to a new work created by artist collective Soundcamp and artist Jessie Brennan.

Passengers are being advised to plan their journeys in advance over this bank holiday weekend as Network Rail prepares to undertake vital work to improve reliability of rail infrastructure.

Passengers in West Sussex and Hampshire are advised to plan ahead over the autumn half-term and the following three weekends, as Network Rail works to complete a multi-million pound upgrade of the lines between Barnham, Chichester and Havant.

The refurbished footbridge will officially be re-opened by local MP, Helen Whately at 12 noon on Friday 10 May

Network Rail and the British Transport Police have warned drone pilots to keep away from the railway or risk being taken to court and facing a £2,500 penalty following an incident in Surrey earlier this month.  

The plaque, which commemorates the historic ‘Warren’ trusses at London Bridge station, has been unveiled by the Railway Heritage Trust.

Train stations in Kent and Sussex are among 73 across Britain set to benefit from a share of £300 million Access for All funding, the government announced today.
