Heart of Wessex line to close between Weymouth and Castle Cary for vital track replacement work
ONE MONTH TO GO: Vital track replacement work in Thornford, Dorset, will mean that the Heart of Wessex Line between Castle Cary and Weymouth will be closed with buses replacing trains from Monday 23 September to Sunday 29 September.

- Ryde Pier will close from Friday 6 September 2024 until May 2025 while life extension work continues
- One train every 30 minutes will operate between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin from Monday 7 October to early May 2025
- Rail replacement bus services will operate during both closures

Retail sales up 12.6% across Network Rail destination stations
The latest quarterly figures (Q4 covering January to March 2024) released by Network Rail Property have revealed a like-for-like (LFL) retail sales* increase of +12.6% across its retail portfolio of 19 managed stations throughout Great Britain.
Results 185 - 192 out of 2649
