Rail upgrades this weekend and over Christmas signal greater reliability for passengers in South London
This weekend Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November and over Christmas, from Saturday 25 December to Monday 3 January 2022, no trains will run between East Croydon and London Victoria. Most Southern trains will be diverted to London Bridge.

Passengers across South East London and Kent asked to check before they travel ahead of £8m rail upgrade over festive period
- £8m upgrade to South East London’s railway through the Lewisham area being carried out over Christmas and New Year
- Improvements will help to provide a reliable service for passengers in heavily-congested part of network
- Service changes from Monday 27 December 2021 to Monday 3 January 2022 inclusive

Major engineering work starts this week and runs until 4 December that will provide better journeys for rail passengers in Weymouth, Dorchester and Yeovil.
Train services between Weymouth and Yeovil Pen Mill, Dorchester South and Wool will be affected by major improvements in November and December.

Network Rail is managing and delivering station accessibility enhancements as part of the Department for Transport’s Access for All programme. Work will begin on the 1 November 2021 with completion in Autumn 2022.
