Two weeks to go: Work to improve reliability of a key commuter line between London Waterloo and Portsmouth continues this month
From Saturday 21 to Saturday 28 October, the railway between Guildford and Petersfield will be closed, extending to Havant on Sunday 29 October only, with buses replacing trains.

- Local artist Sian Storey painted the mural which features plants and animals native to Hampshire and a South Western Railway train in pride livery
- South Western Railway funded the artwork while Network Rail provided materials and labour in a collaborative project

Two weeks to go: Reliability improvements set to continue this October on the railway between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth
From Monday 16 to Friday 20 October, buses will replace Great Western Railway (GWR) trains between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth while Network Rail engineers carry out work to bring smoother and more reliable journeys on the Heart of Wessex line.
