Kent: Emergency work to repair a landslip at Newington will mean buses replace trains between Gillingham and Sittingbourne until Monday 4 March
The railway line between Rainham and Sittingbourne will remain closed for at least the next seven days to allow Network Rail engineers to stabilise a landslip next to the railway at Newington.

Network Rail is reminding customers to plan ahead and allow plenty of time as buses replace South Western Railway (SWR), Great Western Railway (GWR) and Southern trains between Southampton Central and Havant, Eastleigh and Portsmouth Harbour and Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour this February half term – starting tomorrow (Monday 12 February).
