Passengers are set to benefit from smoother, more reliable train journeys as Network Rail upgrade the tracks through Rolleston, Nottinghamshire this February.

Work has begun to improve Platform 1 at Derby station, benefitting passengers travelling between Penzance and Edinburgh this Spring. 

Network Rail apprentices offer their views on this exciting route into rail and encourage others to consider a career in the industry.

A total of £48 million is on its way to Peterborough, following a successful Levelling Up Fund bid for the first phase of regeneration of the area around Peterborough station – known as Station Quarter.
