Network Rail has today (Tuesday, 14 January) announced that £600,000 will be invested at Beverley railway station to improve passenger experience and enhance the look and feel of the station.

Network Rail is working with Northern to extend both of the platforms at MetroCentre station, to allow newer trains with more seats to call there.

All train services have today (Monday, 30 December) resumed at Leeds station after Network Rail has successfully completed the next stage of a major project to improve services for passengers.

A £2.1million investment by Network Rail took place over Christmas to renew parts of the track just south of Grantham.
