Network Rail has thanked neighbours and passengers for their patience and understanding after work to replace a subway and alter track at Chorley station was carried out over the bank holiday weekend.

• Customers are being reminded that a full closure of the railway line between Gospel Oak and Barking will commence in late September following first phase of work
