Railway workers and residents have joined forces to plant more than 520 trees and hedgerow plants near Port Sunlight station on the Wirral.

Passengers making essential journeys between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street are being advised of upcoming railway improvements.

Dozens of Network Rail and GWR workers have pulled together to help support the NHS by creating an outdoor garden space at the Nightingale Hospital in Exeter.

GB Railfreight (GBRf), one of the largest rail freight operators in the UK, has been working on a project to renew the signalling system and overhead line equipment in the King’s Cross area, followed by major work to install a new simplified track design at London King's Cross station.

Passengers in West Sussex will now benefit from £383k platform upgrade to improve journeys for all who use the station.
