Services on the line between Anniesland and Glasgow Queen Street, via Ashfield, will operate as normal from Sunday July 8 with work to repair a track defect now complete.

Network Rail and officers from British Transport Police were at Carleton level crossing in Poulton-le-Fylde this week talking to pedestrians and drivers about using the crossing the safely.

Network Rail’s plans to upgrade two level crossings in Dingwall have been rescheduled to take place in October due to the need for additional design work.

Passengers are advised that severe disruption to Southern and Gatwick Express services to and from London Victoria will continue for the rest of the day following a major power failure affecting signalling in the Streatham area overnight.

Damage to signalling equipment in the Streatham Common area is causing major disruption to services this morning with no Southern or Gatwick Express services able to serve London Victoria and knock-on disruption to Thameslink services. Passengers are advised not to travel.
