Essential and urgent engineering work on the Brighton Main Line north of Gatwick Airport means that passengers need to plan ahead and check before they travel.

The £20m investment in the Greek Street bridge will close the Manchester spur of the West Coast Main Line for three weeks this August.

Staff from Network Rail will be visiting level crossings across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire this week to speak with communities and raise awareness about railway safety ahead of the school summer holidays.
