UPDATE: Rail line to reopen tomorrow following incident at Cambridgeshire level crossing
Repair works are close to completion on the Ely and Peterborough rail line following a collision between a freight train and a tractor last week, which means the line will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday 24 August).

After nine days of work and a £22m investment, the railway through Horsham reopened today (Monday), with passengers thanked for their patience
In all, more than 40 miles of railway was closed, from Saturday, 14 August, until Sunday, 22 August, for a mixture of upgrades and maintenance across over 120 different sites. Buses replaced trains between Arundel, Horsham, Crawley and Dorking for the nine days.
