Rail passengers travelling in the North West this Easter are being advised to check before they travel while major railway upgrades take place to improve future journeys.

Passengers planning on using the West Coast main line this Easter are being advised to travel either side of the bank holiday with major improvements to a railway junction in Watford closing Euston for four days.

From Friday 7 to Monday 10 April customers are being urged to check before they travel as buses replace trains across part of Network Rail’s Southern region.

Work is underway to install a temporary bridge structure and build a road to enable the demolition and reconstruction of the A955 Leven Rail (Bawbee) bridge.
