Historic railway equipment destined for the scrap yard has been saved by three groups of enthusiasts in Northumberland.

Engineers will be working around-the-clock for four days from this Saturday at locations between Craigendoran and Crianlarich to renew track, refurbish structures and improve drainage on the railway.
