Residents in Warwickshire are invited to find out more about a major piece of work to protect the Chiltern main line from landslips.

Ashford and Kent rail passengers are advised to check before they travel this weekend, 23-24 November and between 26 – 29 December, as Network Rail works to improve the railway between Ashford International and Canterbury West stations.  

Glasgow Central station is encouraging passengers to show their generosity this Thursday by donating clothes and toiletries to the Glasgow City Mission.

Network Rail and British Transport Police are urging rail passengers to make sure the only thing they regret after a night out over the Christmas period is a lighter bank balance or a hangover, as newly-released figures show a 30% increase in drink-related incidents on the railway in the last decade.

Network Rail is holding an information event on Tuesday, 26 November, where people can find out more about the work to refurbish the footbridge at Welwyn Garden City station.

Local residents and rail passengers are invited to four public drop-in events during November and December to hear about Network Rail’s major 9-day closure of the Bexleyheath line from Saturday 15 to Sunday 23 February 2020.
