Network Rail and the Bluebell Railway have signed an agreement which will see further collaboration between the two organisations – the first of its kind with a heritage railway in the south of England.

Network Rail will replace the railway bridge over East Kilbride Road, at Busby station, in March.

DB Cargo UK has signed a major contract with Siemens Mobility to begin fitting the new European Train Control System (ETCS) to the UK’s Class 66 freight locomotives.
