No train services are expected to run to or from Ayr station over the next few days as engineers work to assess when the station can re-open, following a major fire at the neighbouring hotel last night.

Residents in Llanharan are being invited to a drop-in event to find out more about work to install a new footbridge near Trenos level crossing.
