Teams from Network Rail will be giving up spending the festive period with their families to deliver vital upgrades to the railway in North Yorkshire.

Over the festive period, teams from Network Rail will be working to upgrade the track through Doncaster railway station which will provide smoother and more reliable journeys for passengers.

Network Rail will be investing £250,000 into boosting railway reliability in Hertfordshire this Christmas.

• Better, more efficient step free access for all passengers using Grays station
• Two new lifts to be installed under the Government’s Access for All scheme
• Existing underpass to temporarily close early in the new year for lift installation work
