Work to rebuild two bridges over the railway in Walsall is progressing as Network Rail continues its investment in the railway.

Members of the public are invited to comment on plans to construct two new sections of railway track near Dore & Totley station and between Bamford and Hathersage.

Rail passengers, York residents and visitors to the city are being reminded to plan ahead this half term as the old bridge deck of Scarborough Rail Bridge will be lifted out and a new one installed.

Network Rail will restore services to Manchester Victoria’s Metrolink stop next month after completing work to build new platforms and tracks.
