Network Rail has announced the appointment of two vastly experienced non-executive directors to its new Property Board as the company continues to ramp up its property activities.

Network Rail has appointed Becky Lumlock as route managing director for Wessex, one of the busiest routes on the rail network which includes Britain’s busiest railway station, Waterloo, and the major commuter area to the south and west of London.

Repairs to a 500,000-tonne landslip in Cumbria will see the iconic Settle to Carlisle railway line fully reopen to trains by the end of March 2017, Network Rail announced today (7 July).
