Students from King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy with their artwork that is on display near Birmigham New Street station. The location on Hill Street was previously a bare, uninspiring wall covered in green mould. After an approach from Regenerated and Birmingham City Council, Network Rail has worked with the students and local artists to transform the space into a showcase for local artistic talent.

As part of Network Rail's commitment to the environment, a number of ponds were created when Whitemoor Yard was reopened in 2004.
