Date:  Thursday, March 11 2004 Time: 10.30am Place: East Cliff car park, Teignmouth What: Abseilers will be scaling the cliffs, clearing vegetation and carrying out other preparatory work before attaching rock netting, as part of the work being carried out by Network Rail to stabilise the cliffs. This will help prevent landslips on to the mainline railway below. Representatives of Network Rail and its contractor Dean & Dyball will be available for interview.
