PHOTOCALL: ALLOA SET FOR TWO DAYS OF 'NO MESSIN' SUMMER FUN

Time: 13.00hrs, Wednesday 4 July Event: Up to 2,000 children are expected to attend a free rail safety event over two days on Wednesday 4 July and Thursday 5 July. A huge range of activities are planned, including: athletics, boxing, bungee running, a climbing wall, cricket, DJ workshop, professional football coaching, football freestyling, gaming, rowing, Judo, kick boxing, motor biking, a surfing simulator and wrestling. Location: Tulligarth Community Centre, Tullibody Rd, Alloa, FK10 2ES Teenagers in Alloa will have the chance to participate in more than 20 sports, dance and music activities – including football training by Rangers and Celtic coaches – as part of No Messin’ Live! 2007, a two-day event arranged by Network Rail. The free event, at Tulligarth Community Centre on 4 and 5 July, aims to raise awareness of railway safety among young people through engaging and interesting activities. In addition, 25 local bands will have a chance to showcase their talents and learn from the professionals, with live acts playing throughout both days. Alloa will see the new Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine railway line open in the town in the near future. No Messin’! will help to highlight the dangers of playing on or near the railway to teenagers by giving them the chance to participate in productive alternatives. A second Scottish No Messin' Live event will take place at All Saints School, North Glasgow on 10 and 11 July.
