NETWORK RAIL’S SECOND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Network Rail’s second AGM for its 113 Members is in Cardiff on 21 July. Where:          Cardiff Thistle Hotel, Park Place, Cardiff CF10 3UD                         By train to Cardiff Central and then 10 mins walk (0.5 miles). Turn right onto St Mary Street . High Street and walk 400 yards straight to Cardiff Castle. Turn right and walk 250 yards down Queen Street. The hotel is on the left opposite Marks & Spencer.                         When:            Wednesday 21 July 2004. §         Starts at 11.00 §         Expected to be concluded by around14.00 Facilities:       Press room available for all media from 10am with refreshments, live TV feed, telephone lines & lunch §         0930-1030:  pre-meeting filming facility of members arriving at venue §         1050- 1105: filming and photo op of Members taking seats and the start of the meeting §         1400 ish – informal press conference in the press room with Ian McAllister, Chairman and John Armitt, Chief Executive Please confirm attendance by contacting the Network Rail press office on 020 7557 8292
