NETWORK RAIL PUBLISHES FULL RESULTS OF RMT BALLOT

Network Rail today published the full results of the RMT ballot of signallers and maintenance workers. Signalling and operations        -  75% turnout -  yes = 1799 or 50.8% -  no  = 1743 Maintenance workers             -  53% turnout -  yes = 1148 or 69.5% -  no  = 503 John Armitt, Chief Executive, said: “We will now look to meet with the RMT as soon as they are able, to continue discussions that will enable us to avoid a strike.”
