MEDIA INVITATION: FORTH BRIDGE ‘RED HOT’ MYSTERY MAKEOVER REVEALED

Date:                           Monday 21 February 2005 Time:                          6.00pm Location:                    Binx car park, Rose Lane, off High Street, South Queensferry (situated at the end of the village away from the Forth Bridge behind Mandarin Take Away and the Episcopal Church             Event:                         Lennie Henry, star of comedy and long-serving supporter of Comic Relief will transform the appearance of the Forth Bridge as part of the charity’s Scottish launch in advance of Red Nose Day. Media contact:          0141 555 4109            It will be a Red Letter Day for the Forth Bridge as Network Rail and Comic Relief join forces to reveal the bridge’s mystery makeover to support the charity’s Scottish launch in advance of Red Nose Day on 11 March 2005. Lennie Henry, well known star of the British comedy scene, will switch the lights back on the bridge to illuminate a Forth Bridge ‘reddy’ to play its part in this bi-annual charity event.  The lights were switched off on Sunday 13 February to carry out some ‘special’ maintenance work. Joining Lennie for the big switch on will be xxxxx from Network Rail and xxx xxx from Comic Relief. You are invited to attend with a photographer and reporter.
