Rail passengers travelling through Liverpool Lime street station are being advised to plan ahead with large numbers of people expected to travel into the city on Sunday (27 April).
As Liverpool FC playing at home and fans anticipating them being confirmed as Premier League Champions, trains are expected to be busier than normal.
At Liverpool Lime Street station, a one-way system will be in place, and there will be a bus replacement service for some rail services.
Anyone wanting to travel by train on Sunday should allow more time to complete their journey and be prepared to queue.
Rachel Rahbarzare, Lime Street station manager, said: “We are proud to be the main gateway for fans and visitors coming to Liverpool to celebrate. With more people travelling than normal for a Sunday, we’re putting in a one-way system to allow us to safely move people through the station.
“We do expect train services to be busy and so passengers should plan ahead, be prepared to queue, with some services being replaced by buses. In order to help station teams and train staff keep people on the move, we remind passengers to treat each other and our colleagues with respect so everyone can get home safely."

About Network Rail
We own, operate and develop Britain's railway infrastructure; that's 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts and the thousands of signals, level crossings and stations. We run 20 of the UK's largest stations while all the others, over 2,500, are run by the country's train operating companies.
Usually, there are almost five million journeys made in the UK and over 600 freight trains run on the network. People depend on Britain's railway for their daily commute, to visit friends and loved ones and to get them home safe every day. Our role is to deliver a safe and reliable railway, so we carefully manage and deliver thousands of projects every year that form part of the multi-billion pound Railway Upgrade Plan, to grow and expand the nation's railway network to respond to the tremendous growth and demand the railway has experienced - a doubling of passenger journeys over the past 20 years.
