Passengers commuting into London Bridge this autumn will have their journeys brightened by beautiful artwork, as Network Rail joins with French artist Jennifer Abessira, engineering business Costain and Team London Bridge to bring colour and culture to St Thomas Street.

Following the successful removal of the Stapleton Road viaduct in Bristol, the site is now being prepared for the installation of a new bridge next year. This will enable more train services and a more reliable railway for passengers as part of Network Rail’s Railway Upgrade Plan.

Passengers who travel between Tame Bridge Parkway and Rugeley Trent Valley are being reminded that the railway will be closed for the next three Sundays while Network Rail continues to upgrade the Chase line.

Teams from Network Rail and Carillion Power Lines have taken time out from work to electrify the Shotts line to support local community projects.
