Passengers planning to travel between Stoke-on-Trent and Derby on Monday are being urged to check before they travel after a bridge replacement was delayed because of high winds.

Motorists are being reminded that a project to refurbish three historic railway bridges in Manchester city centre ramps up again next week.

Network Rail is advising passengers that buses will replace trains between Aberdeen and Dundee on Sunday April 28 as engineers commission the first phase of signalling improvements on the line.
