Final preparations are being made before a new railway bridge is driven through the streets of Leamington Spa this Easter.

Details have been released explaining why London Euston station must be closed during essential railway improvements over the Easter bank holiday.

A lift at Huddersfield station has now reopened after Network Rail complete work to make it more reliable for passengers.

Network Rail teams across the country have been working to freshen up Britain's railway in the Queen's Platinum Jubilee year with more than £2m of funding being used to target the removal of unsightly graffiti which blights infrastructure.

Passengers travelling on the c2c Line between London and Shoeburyness are urged to check before they travel as Network Rail continues it’s work to upgrade the overhead wiring system. Residents are also being reminded that the level crossing at East Tilbury station will also be closed for short periods throughout the work.

Passengers travelling to Stansted and between London and Cambridge are advised to check before they travel this Easter as Network Rail carries out essential track works in the Bishops Stortford area.
