Network Rail is delighted to announce that Doncaster’s new railway training centre will be named The Gresley Institute – following a public vote, held in partnership with City of Doncaster Council, which attracted over 3,500 responses.

Network Rail’s four-day track replacement between Bristol and Bath is complete. On Monday (27 October) engineers began work installing new rail, sleepers and stone through St Anne’s tunnel, working around the clock and finishing the job in the early hours of this morning (Friday 31 October), as planned.
