An artist's impression of the improved forecourt outside Cambridge station. Network Rail has secured investment of up to £4.5m to improve Cambridge station as part of developer Brookgate's CB1 redevelopment scheme. This will be used to expand and improve the ticket hall and help integrate rail travel with other modes of transport. In addition, Brookgate will be improving the forecourt area outside the station to create a new public plaza.
