Forth Bridge, looking south.
Pic018: Paint is applied in three layers - a primer, a glass-flake epoxy and a top-coat. It’s the top-coat which gives the bridge its colour and its lustre, made to match the red-oxide paint first applied over 121 years ago. The RSPB protected island of Inchgarvie is visible in the background.
