- North West & Central
Families are set to embark on magical journeys from London Euston this year as THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride arrives in style at the station. For the first time in London, the charter train promises to bring the Christmas classic film to life, creating unforgettable memories throughout December.
This year, Euston station is proudly hosting The Polar Express, bringing its enchanting magic to London after the immersive adventure delighted over 150,000 guests last year in Wensleydale, South Devon, Kent, and Edinburgh. Running only for ten exclusive dates between 6 December to 23 December, passengers lucky enough to have secured tickets will be whisked away into the enchanting world of The Polar Express.
On board passengers will enjoy festive musical and theatrical performances, as well as a cosy treat of hot chocolate and a sweet delight. To top it all off, Santa himself may even make a special appearance onboard to spread some Christmas magic! The fun doesn’t end when the train returns with guests invited to capture the moment for a festive photo opportunity on the platform, as well as soaking up the Christmas spirit with live carol singers performing.
Gareth Parry, Network Rail’s station manager at London Euston, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome The Polar Express to Euston station this year. It’s a fantastic experience that really captures the spirit of Christmas!”
“With Euston expected to be extremely busy across the whole month of December, we’d like to urge people to plan their journeys in advance and take care when travelling through the station.”
Mark Haynes, marketing manager for PNP Events, said: "We are thrilled to bring The Polar Express to London Euston this Christmas! For the first time, this enchanting train ride will arrive in the heart of the capital, welcoming over 30,000 guests to a truly magical Christmas experience.
"As The Conductor famously says, 'The thing about trains... it doesn’t matter where they’re going. What matters is deciding to get on.' We’re confident everyone who joins us will leave inspired by the spirit of the season. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible teams at Network Rail and Euston Station for their warm support - this partnership truly makes the magic possible."

About Network Rail
We own, operate and develop Britain's railway infrastructure; that's 20,000 miles of track, 30,000 bridges, tunnels and viaducts and the thousands of signals, level crossings and stations. We run 20 of the UK's largest stations while all the others, over 2,500, are run by the country's train operating companies.
Usually, there are almost five million journeys made in the UK and over 600 freight trains run on the network. People depend on Britain's railway for their daily commute, to visit friends and loved ones and to get them home safe every day. Our role is to deliver a safe and reliable railway, so we carefully manage and deliver thousands of projects every year that form part of the multi-billion pound Railway Upgrade Plan, to grow and expand the nation's railway network to respond to the tremendous growth and demand the railway has experienced - a doubling of passenger journeys over the past 20 years.
