An historic luggage bridge which was removed from Worcester Shrub Hill station last year will soon be replaced with an identical-looking replica built with stronger modern materials.

Network Rail’s construction works at Romford station continue to move forward to deliver step free access, a new entrance and a fully refurbished and improved ticket office, ready for the opening of the Elizabeth line.

Heavy snow in North Yorkshire didn’t stop Network Rail teams upgrading the track on the Esk Valley line, which dates back to the mid-1940’s.

Passengers travelling between Ely and Kings Lynn will experience fewer delays and cancellations following the completion of essential track works carried out by Network Rail.

Scotland’s Railway will be withdrawing services on some routes on Tuesday while high winds and extreme rainfall sweeps across the country.
