Network Rail is carrying out work to upgrade Bainton level crossing in Helpston this weekend to improve reliability and make sure it remains fit for purpose for years to come.

Network Rail has today (29 November) released CCTV footage which shows serious misuse of a level crossing in Attenborough in Broxtowe, Nottinghamshire.

The £2.9m project to replace the bridge on Mill Street will help ensure more reliable journeys for rail passengers and road users in north Shropshire.

With winds of up to 70mph expected to hit some parts of Wales from Friday 26 November, Network Rail has announced speed restrictions to keep passengers safe.
