Passengers travelling between London Euston and Scotland over the Easter bank holiday are being advised to travel either side of the long weekend while railway upgrades take place on the West Coast Main Line.

A £10m programme of repair work to the Blackheath tunnel by Network Rail means that train services will be diverted via Greenwich.

Train services have resumed between Yeovil Pen Mill and Castle Cary after a week-long closure where Network Rail carried out essential improvements to the railway.

Trains between Okehampton, Barnstaple and Exeter are running again after Network Rail successfully completed engineering work to protect and enhance the railway in Devon.
