People in Kent and East Sussex can find out more about a project to boost rail capacity and reduce crowding on the Uckfield line at a series of drop-in sessions organised by Network Rail.

Work to upgrade the line between Clitheroe and Manchester starts this weekend and passengers are being urged to check before they travel and plan their journeys.

Work is due to start on the final bridge to be reconstructed in Bolton as part of work to electrify the line between Manchester and Preston.
