Network Rail Scotland looks after Scotland’s Railway and infrastructure, including the world-famous Forth Bridge which connects passengers in Fife, north of Edinburgh, with Edinburgh and the Borders. The ScotRail Alliance was formed in 2015 and is a close working relationship between ScotRail and Network Rail Scotland. The aim is to improve the railway in Scotland for passengers and businesses by working better together. While remaining separate companies, both organisations will work to achieve common aims and objectives led by a single managing director and senior management team under the ScotRail brand.
