Copperas Wood embankment - new piling

Regions:

More than 200m of sheet piling along the bottom of the embankment was put in place in record time following the landslip on 21 October. Several hundred tonnes of granite shingle will be used to solidify the base of the embankment where it meets the new retaining wall, which has been piled to a depth of 19m.
