The new facilities at Folkestone West, part of a £1.4m upgrade, include high-quality waiting facilities and toilets for Orient Express passengers. These are all fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act, making the service much more accessible to those with reduced mobility.

Artist Zoot with his black and white installation on display near Birmigham New Street station. The location on Hill Street was previously a bare, uninspiring wall covered in green mould. After an approach from Regenerated and Birmingham City Council, Network Rail has worked with local artists and students from King Edward VI Sheldon Heath Academy to transform the space into a showcase for local artistic talent.
