Passengers commuting into London Bridge this autumn will have their journeys brightened by beautiful artwork, as Network Rail joins with French artist Jennifer Abessira, engineering business Costain and Team London Bridge to bring colour and culture to St Thomas Street.

The redevelopment of London Bridge station and the surrounding railway – part of the government-sponsored Thameslink Programme – moved a step closer to completion this weekend after a successful eight days of engineering work to the railway in central London completed on-time.

Kent passengers thanked for patience as planned Waterloo diversions resume tomorrow
Southeastern passengers diverted to and from London Blackfriars today (Tuesday 29 August) have been thanked for their patience following confirmation that the affected trains – 40 in total each day – will run to and from Waterloo as planned from tomorrow (Wednesday) and for the remainder of the working week.
Kent passengers urged to check before travelling on Tuesday as some additional trains diverted to and from London Blackfriars
Rail passengers in Kent are asked to check before travelling on Tuesday 29 August as trains which had been diverted to run into Waterloo while major improvement work is carried out in and around London Bridge will run to and from London Blackfriars instead. The number of trains running will not be affected.
Passengers in the South East are advised that there will be queuing systems at Cannon Street as Network Rail prepares for August closures
Network Rail and Southeastern are advising passengers that between Tuesday 29 August and Friday 1 September there will be queuing systems in place at Cannon Street station during the busiest times, as Network Rail continues to rebuild London Bridge and the surrounding railway, as part of the Thameslink Programme.

- No services to or from London Euston on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 August
- Services in and out of Waterloo station will be limited throughout August
- Fewer trains into London Bridge station from 26 August – 2 September
