The London North Eastern and East Midlands route covers the East Coast Main Line from the Scottish border to London King's Cross station and the Midland Main Line from Sheffield to London St Pancras. The route covers the North East, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire, parts of Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire and the whole of the East Midlands. Train operators include London North Eastern, Northern, East Midlands Trains, Transpennine Express, Grand Central Rail, First Hull Trains, Cross Country and Govia Thameslink Railway.

Network Rail is seeking a partner to help deliver the first major inter-city digital railway on the East Coast Mainline (ECML). In an entirely new way of working, the organisation’s London North Eastern and East Midlands (LNE & EM) route is looking to team up early, and on a whole life basis, with a technology provider to work together on designs, plans, phasing, costs and realising benefits.

Thousands of excited revellers will pass through Leeds station during the course of the five-day event before catching coaches or taxis to Bramham Park where the festival is held.
Cottingham Road bridge in Corby will remain closed until Saturday, 29 September as additional work takes place.
All services are now able to travel on the track in Fitzwilliam, West Yorkshire after it was struck by a tractor last night.
