Network Rail is advising passengers who travel on South Western Railway services to check their journeys before travelling this evening (Thursday 20th September) and tomorrow (Friday 21st) morning due to severe weather forecast across the south which will require speed limits for trains.
Work to electrify the Stirling, Dunblane and Alloa lines ahead of the introduction of new electric trains will see the railway between Larbert and Dunblane close from Sunday October 14 to Monday October 22.
